At European Sperm Bank, we give you the option to choose an exclusive sperm donor. You must choose an exclusive sperm donor if you want your child to be the only, or one of the only, children of your chosen donor.

Exclusive sperm donors are reserved for this programme. They represent a wide range of our sperm donors, but are only visible to those with special permission. Get in touch if you want access to our exclusive sperm donors.
If you select an exclusive sperm donor, you need to decide whether you want worldwide or countrywide exclusivity.
Worldwide exclusivity
Worldwide exclusivity ensures that the sperm of a donor can only be purchased by one woman or couple in the entire world. This means that the sperm donor is exclusively delivering sperm to you.
Countrywide exclusivity
Countrywide exclusivity ensures that the sperm donor only donates to one woman or couple in five countries. This means that your donor will, at most, be used by four other families in four other countries.

What does that mean for you?
When you select an exclusive donor, you commit to purchasing what we call an exclusive donor package. Once purchased, you have the exclusive right to straws deposited by your chosen sperm donor, whether this is on a country- or worldwide basis. You are also entitled to a range of more concrete services:
- 10 straws included
- Sperm storage at European Sperm Bank for up to 10 years
- 3 shipments to your clinic
- GeneXmatch: a genetic test to reduce the risk of hereditary diseases
In addition to the 10 straws included, it is possible to purchase straws in packs of 5.
