European Sperm Bank has been established to provide patients with donor choices. Our scientific approach with a human touch will ensure that you get a product of the highest quality. Our screening reaches much further than a simple sperm analysis. We realize that donor sperm is of extreme importance to patients and we select our donors very carefully and use carefully developed techniques for handling and screening the specimens.

European Sperm Bank uses industry leading donor screening procedures and we adhere strictly to EU regulations of sperm banks. This screening includes HIV, Hepatitis, Syphilis, Chlamydia, Gonorrhea as well as a number of other tests.

Additionally the genetic screening and medical history review are of highest priority. We are one of the only sperm banks in Europe to screen all donors for Cystic Fibrosis gene mutations and our extensive family medical history analysis is among the most thorough in the industry.

Donor Information

Donor selection is an important process for many patients. In itself it can be very rewarding and furthermore the experience can be used to provide information to resulting children.

Our donor information consists of:

• Donor Profile: Includes extensive family medical information as well as donor personality traits and interests
• Audio Interview: A casual conversation with the donor covering different questions
• Baby Photo: A photo of the donor when he was a baby
• Keirsey Test: A test that classifies the donor’s personality
• Staff Impression: A personal first hand impression of the donor
